Lush Haul!

Hello Lovlies, today I thought I would sit down and write the ever so popular lush haul! I have to admit i'm a sucker when it comes to lush, and I would of bought more if I had the money! Basically I'm just going to get started, by the end of this you will probably be reading my blog whilst waiting in the lush line <3

 

 

The Lush Bag, which is my favourite along with the mac cosmetics bag because of its elegant look was what I took my lush items home in! This bag smells amazing because of all the bath bombs in it!

The first product I purchased was the Snow Fairy Limited Edition Shower Gel, I have to admit I have a weakness for Lush' candy scented products so this shower gel was a must! This was my most anticipated product to buy all year, however I did purchase the small one as this was enought for me! Next year I will buy the largest bottle. The smell like I said is a candy, bubblegum scent which is girly. The smell stays on your skin all day, leaving you smell delightful! This product also lathers well!

The next thing I picked up was the Dashing Santa mainly because it was Christmas time and it looked too cute to ignore, but also because it smelt of satsumas(I love) This little beautie is meant to create an amaingly special bath, but I wont spoil it for you!

This is candy mountain, which is slighty slanted(ahah). This has the same scent as snow fairy(a sweet vanilla smell), however this is a bubble bar which as you can imagine creates a mountain of bubbles in your bath. If you are not too keen on baths without bubbles this is defientley for you! It is also meant to leave you skin feeling soft!

This is Luxury Lush Pud! I do not know much about this bath bomb, I picked it up because of its looks! It has multi-coloured dots and from what I have heard it is outstanding. I'm really excited to try this!

The last thing I have to show you is the bubble bar wand! This smells like candy mountain and snow fairy and can be used up to 5 times, how awesome! All you do is hold the wand under your running water and then swish it around your bath!

Make up Routine 2014

                     Heeeeelo lovlies! 

I hope you've all had a fantastic Christmas with your families, I also hope you're bursting out of your jeans due to too much food (I know I am) Today I'm going to show you my makeup routine for 2014! Make sure to comment down below,

On an day to day basis I don't wear foundation! I begin by taking my natural collection concealer in the shade light, I believe this is around the £4 mark which is fantastic! I put this on any problem areas(those pesky spots on my chin) and under my eyes.

I then move on to my eyes with I spend the most time on, as I make my eyes the focus of my face! First I take a primer (today I didn't) and then apply a nude eyeshadow followed by a brown with I apply to my crease! My signature makeup look is winged eyeliner, this soap and glory one is freaking awesome💁 

For mascara I grabbed my Estée Lauder Sumptuous Extreme mascara in the shade 01 extreme black, this really holds my lashes in place💙

A lady isn't complete without her brows💁 So I took my Rimmel London brow pencil in dark brown!

Finally I finish of my look with a nude lipstick, this ones by Lancôme in the shade 06 rose nu. I find a nude lip really pulls together natural makeup!

I'm back!

it's been a looooong time, I felt like I've abandoned my blog recently and that it's in need of some loving! so here I am again, attempting to have a shot in the wonderful world of blogging! The reason I haven't been blogging is due to stress/school\being sick😥 I'm so excited for what's going to be coming up on my blog and can't wait for everyone to see the content and also the time and effort I will be investing in it. ❤️

Skin Care Routine 2014

Today I wanted to share with you my Skincare routine! Like most girls I sadly don't have perfect, flawless skin but that doesn't mean I shouldn't feel comfortable with the skin I have! Over the past few months, I felt like I was rejecting my skin and it looked in need of some TLC. I came together with a skincare routine that suits my skin best and leaves it feeling refreshed and new! (Every time I write skin I accidentally write skiing oops) Just to let you know this skincare routine may not be best for everyone, I tend to find I have mixed skin, sometimes it will be dry and others oily so you can alter this routine as much as you please so that it suites you!

• I begin by washing my face with the simple vital vitamin cleanser! This gives my face a really good clean, I especially love simple as its cheap but good quality!

After washing my face, I then use my Simple cleansing lotion to remove any makeup that I have left on my face (oops!)

I finish off with my Simple facial toner, which I was surprisingly shocked at how effective it was!

Overall, I have been suprised at the quality of Simple Products and the effect they have had on my skin, I will update you soon as to how my skin is looking after keeping up with this regime!

Christmas 2014

Today I was in my car and I heard a Christmas song being played in the background! I have to admit I got overly excited about it but it did get me thinking about what I'm looking forward most to this Christmas so I thought I would share a few of these things with you!

Are you as excited as I am for Christmas already? 

I have a list as long as you could imagine so I am only going to mention a few things that make me really happy that Christmas is coming! I bet you'll agree with me for the majority of them!

The first thing I'm looking forward to is the Christmas lights! Even though the night gets noticeably darker which sucks, the lights lift up my spirits! I love going to see the lights turning on as its such a magical a moment! This year I'm going to a light switch on show, its in a few weeks and I'm so excited! Are you going to see any Christmas lights this year?

The second thing I always look forward to is the cosy nights by the fire! I love to sit with a hot chocolate watching a Christmas movie (I think i watch way too many Christmas movies but then again you can never get enough Christmas movies!) I especially love the polar express, I used to watch it over and over when I was younger and i still love it to this day!

The final thing im going to share with you today is the recipe for my all time favourite fall drink, a Pumpkin Spiced Latte! I was inspired by this drink from Starbucks, and after trying it and loving it I couldnt wait to make it myself! I was also inspired from a few recipes from around the web, I tried hard to make a Pumkin Spiced Latte that was my own - Im not a chef but i have to admit it tastes just as good as Starbucks!

Pumpkin Spiced Latte 

You will need :

• 1 cup of milk
• 1 tablespoon of sugar (I sometimes find I have to add more to taste)
• 1 tablespoon of Pumpkin Puree
• 1 tablespoon of pumpkin pie spice
• 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla essence
• 1/4 cup brewed espresso 

I start by taking half a cup of milk, sugar, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract and add these all into a small saucepan. I turn it on at a low heat and leave the mixture to simmer for 5 minutes. I then whisk in remaining 1/2 cup milk.

I take my pan off the heat and pour my mixture through a sieve. After I put it back onto the heat and allow it to simmer whisking for two minutes. I finally add espresso and whisk until foamy!

My favourite part is to then pour my drink into my favourite Christmas mug and top with whipped cream!

Have you seen how cute this palette looks? I have to admit I've being loving the MUA eyeshadow lately, and the reason I thought I would share this with you was not just because I loved it but because of the quality and also the price!

I find that all of these shaded are pigmented well and are perfect for those just starting out with makeup! I love many urban decay palettes but I have to admit for the price it's amazing!

I find that since this palette is full of soft colours right up to bright and vibrant colours it's perfect for any look, from night to day! the shimmer adds a perfect sparkle to everyday looks which I think is just gorgeous, the matte eyeshadow adds a sleek finish to any look you decide to go with also!
